Grand Designs Australia has awarded Sea Breeze Homes the first ever double appearance on its TV series for an Australian builder!
We’re understandably excited to share this special news with our clients.
Whilst particular client, job and site particulars remain confidential, for now we can say it’s in the Byron hinterland and bestows the kind of breathtaking view of a lush hidden valley that the Byron region is famous for.
The captivating view does not come as a free gift however: there is a 1 in 4 gradient across part of the building envelope. This has set significant challenges for Sydney Architect Jamie Grounds of Jamisa Design and for Sea Breeze Homes alike.
Adding to the drama is the grand scale of the design at 880m2, it will by necessity be constructed over two discrete stages.
This custom project will make for an enthralling and dramatic set of episodes and we look forward to keeping you informed of our progress!
